Ukraine is about to lift US restrictions on long-term strikes on Russian territory. This was facilitated by Moscow’s lack of reaction to the Ukrainian offensive, People’s Deputy, Deputy Chairman of the Council’s Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence Yegor Chernev said in the telethon.
He said that recently a delegation of Ukrainian parliamentarians returned from the United States, where they held many meetings with congressmen of the US House of Representatives.

The deputy recalled that Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, who visited Ukraine with Democrat Richard Blumenthal during the operation in the Kursk region, supported the removal of restrictions on attacks on military targets in Russia.
“Now the majority of Republicans have taken this exact position. The administration itself (of the US President – ed.) is more hesitant. The very provision of long-range weapons depends on their decisions,” explained the representative of the people.
He noted that American congressmen are currently on vacation and will only return to work in September. Therefore, it will take time to submit the bill to the US Congress.
“We have called for writing letters to the White House and the Pentagon today, to change the position of the administration today on the facts as Putin wants to say, an operation in the Kursk region and no increase in the share of the share. Russian Federation , I think we are close to removing restrictions and acquiring other long-range weapons,” stressed the deputy.
According to the representative of the people, the military operation in the Kursk region was launched precisely to prevent the invaders from launching attacks from their territory. “But this can be avoided if we have long-range weapons, with which we destroy the entire military infrastructure of the enemy from the territory of Ukraine,” Chernev concluded.
