The Russians presented the development for the first time at their defense forum Army 2024 in Moscow. The development is presented by an investment fund Erawhich supplies Russian weapons developers.
In their development, the Russians completely repeated the concept itself and the implementation of weapons created in Ukraine Shaablyasince September 2023, approved for use at the front of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Russian version of the turret is remote-controlled by wire and uses an optical sighting module. The weapon is adapted for different machine guns – 7.62 PKM or 12.7 mm NSV Cliff And Cord.
Today we are only talking about a sample of the exhibition Chapaya. There is no information yet about whether Russia has been able to establish their mass production.
