JSC Ukrzaliznytsia said that private companies belonging to a large industrial group, using the courts, are trying to annul changes in tariffs for cargo transportation that were agreed and introduced in 2021-2022. This was reported by the press service of Ukrzaliznytsia.
The company warned that in the event of a large-scale attack, such actions could lead to critical consequences for the country’s economy and defense capabilities.
Currently, the Kiev District Administrative Court annulled Order No. 586 of the Ministry of Infrastructure dated 2021 on changes in the coefficients applied to the tariffs of the Collection of Tariffs for the transportation of goods by rail within Ukraine and related services.
UZ added that two other similar cases are being considered by other courts of administrative jurisdiction.
In turn, the society considers such a decision unfounded and unfounded, because the court, during the consideration of the case, exceeded its powers and assessed the possibility of changing the value of tariffs, and did not the compliance of such a decision with the legislative acts of the state authority.
“In fact, the court assumed the powers of the Ministry of Infrastructure and other bodies that agreed to the relevant order and determined its feasibility, validity and legality – the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Finance, the Service of State Regulatory and the Ministry of justice of Ukrzaliznytsia considers such actions unacceptable and appeals the decision of this court, – explained their position to Ukrzaliznytsia.
