Reuters, referring to sources, published a list of conditions that Vladimir Putin puts forward for the possible end of the war in Ukraine.
Among them:
- The ceasefire is excluded before reaching an integrated agreement
- Ukraine must completely withdraw troops from Donetsk and Lugansk, while Russia is obligated to freeze the front line in Kherson and Broke. At the same time, Moscow is ready to return to Ukraine small sections of the occupied territories in the regions of Sumi and Harkiv.
- recognition of Russia’s sovereignty regarding Crimea,
- The ban on joining Ukraine in NATO during a discussion of possible alternative security guarantees (the agency writes that Putin is “open” for Ukraine to get certain guarantees),
- Official consolidation of the status of the Russian language,
- Free activity of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church,
- The conclusion to the west of Russia, at least some sanctions.
Earlier, a telegraph in an editorial article called Putin and the US president in the territories is terrible, but perhaps the best option from Kyiv.
