A resident of the Ternopil region died of electric shock after touching a metal fence. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Energy.

The accident occurred on the morning of August 3 in the Ternopil region.

“As a result of a tree falling on an overhead line, the wire broke and fell into the fence, the man, trying to climb it, came to a dangerous distance and was fatally electrocuted,” the Ministry of Energy reported.

As reported by 20 Minutes, a 30-year-old man died. Relatives called an ambulance, but doctors only declared the man dead. Police are investigating the accident.

We remind you that a teenager died as a result of an electric shock in the Odessa region. Two others were hospitalized.

It was also reported that in Bucha a teenager received 90% burns on his body after climbing on the roof of an electric train.
