Negotiations between Ukraine and Russia within the framework of the second Peace Summit can begin even if the occupiers do not withdraw their troops from all Ukrainian territories at that time. This was said in an interview with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Le Monde
“This does not mean that at this moment (the beginning of negotiations within the framework of the second world summit – ed.) we are on the border of 1991. I am the one answering your question, this does not mean,” answered Zelensky .
At the same time, he clarified that such a scenario for the complete restoration of territorial integrity before the start of negotiations is fair. But this does not mean that it can be achieved only with the help of weapons.
French journalists then asked Zelensky again if his statement meant that the complete withdrawal of Russian troops was not a condition for negotiations.
“It is desirable for the whole world to stop Putin (Russian dictator Vladimir Putin) so that the borders are a condition. It is desirable for the whole world,” he answered.
