Today, the Russians are most active in the Pokrovsky direction. The enemy stormed the areas of the settlements of Timofeyevka, Vozdvizhenka, Novoaleksandrovka, Zelenoe Pole, Kalinovo, Ivanovka, Progress, Zhelanne, Sergeyevka, Novoselovka Pervaya and Yasnobrodovka. The defense forces are holding back the enemy’s onslaught and have repelled 16 attacks, with 12 combat contacts still ongoing. This is stated in the construction of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for July 28.
The situation is also difficult in the Liman direction. Here the invading army attacked the defenders’ positions 12 times. The defense forces repelled five enemy attacks, and seven are still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the Russians tried to advance nine times. Six battles were completed, and three are still ongoing.
Six assaults took place in the Kramatorsk direction, and five in the Seversk direction. Four Russian attacks took place in the Kurakhovsky direction. Three assaults have been stopped, and another battle is ongoing. In the Kharkov direction, the Russians carried out three attacks nearby, and one combat contact is currently ongoing.
Let us recall that the Ukrainian military said that the fighting in the Pokrovsk direction continues virtually non-stop. This is the hottest section of the front, because the enemy is concentrating maximum efforts here. For the so-called scattered assaults, the Russians use a huge number of infantry.
