Each power plant has a plan for carrying out work and an understanding of when exactly the power units will be taken out of repair. This was stated by the head of the company “Ukrenergo” Vladimir Kudritsky.
All power engineers, all energy companies and Ukrenergo are no exception. They are working very intensively without days off to prepare for the heating season, he noted.
Kudritsky also stressed that new Russian shelling cannot be ruled out.
Earlier it was reported that Energoatom had connected the thousand-power unit to the power grid ahead of schedule after a scheduled repair. The company emphasized that this would make the power system more stable during the difficult period.
Let us recall that in July, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated that the leadership of Ukrainian cities needs to install alternative energy sources to ensure uninterrupted power supply to critical infrastructure facilities.
