“In order to occupy additional square meters of Ukrainian territory, Vladimir Putin is not only killing many Ukrainian civilians, but also sending hundreds of thousands of Russian soldiers to certain death,” Scholz said.

According to official data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the morning of July 24, 2024, Russia lost 570,120 soldiers in Ukraine. Of these, 1140 have occurred in the past 24 hours.
