About 58,000 people signed up to volunteer for the Harris campaign, more than 100 times the average daily registration.
US Vice President Kamala Harris, who confirmed her intention to run for the country’s presidency, raised $100 million for her election campaign. This was reported by ABC News on Tuesday, July 23.
The largest amount raised was from Sunday to Monday night, after President Joe Biden announced he was withdrawing his candidacy. The money was raised by the Democratic National Committee and the general fundraising fund.
Additionally, nearly 58,000 people have reportedly signed up to volunteer for the Harris campaign, more than 100 times the average daily registration.
It can be remembered that in the first 24 hours after US Vice President Kamala Harris announced her intention to run for president, her campaign received $81 million in donations.
Almost every prominent Democrat seen as a potential challenger to Harris has reportedly come out in his favor, including Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, California Governor Gavin Newsom and Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear.
