There are no signs of the formation of an offensive enemy group in the direction of Zaporozhye, said Dmitry Likhovoy.
The Russian aggressors are gradually replenishing the personnel of their troops in the Zaporozhye region. This is what the speaker of the operational-strategic group of forces (OSGV), Tavria Dmitry Likhovoy, said in a telethon on Tuesday, July 23.
“At the moment, there is a positional confrontation here, although if you take the number of enemy personnel, for example, in the Zaporozhye region itself, then there are many Russians here: this number is about 90 thousand – approximately about two thousand more have been added in the last three weeks.”
Likhovoy said that, according to Ukrainian intelligence, “there are no sharp, significant changes that will influence the change in the nature of the hostilities.”
“And no signs of the formation of an offensive enemy group were detected. That is, the number of enemies present in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions is not enough to conduct effective offensive operations in an area beyond the line where the enemy stands now,” he said.
In turn, the enemy concentrated up to 65 thousand military personnel of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the direction of the Dnieper. They are located mainly in the Kherson region, defined by Likhovoy.
He remembered that the village of Krynki was completely destroyed by the enemy, and there were no positions left to hold. Therefore, units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces are in other positions – on the bridges on the left bank of the Dnieper.
We remind you that in one day on July 22, more than 1,200 Russian military personnel were fired. The total losses of the aggressor country Russia since the beginning of the war are approaching 570 thousand.
