Among US Democrats, calls have grown louder for Biden to abandon further attempts to retain the top government post.

US Vice President Kamala Harris met with major Democratic Party donors regarding information about Joe Biden’s possible withdrawal from the presidential race. The New York Times reported this on Friday, July 19.

“We are going to win this election. We know which candidate the American people put forward in this election – our President Joe Biden,” he said.

The publication noted that the conversation was organized with the support of LinkedIn co-founder Reed Goffman and one of the main donors of the Democrats. He called for “focusing on the critical work that needs to be done to protect democracy.”

The presidential election in the United States will take place on November 5th. It is assumed that the US Democratic Party will be represented by Joe Biden. His candidacy may be confirmed at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago on August 19-22.

US President Joe Biden has ordered a survey of voters to find out if they would support Kamala Harris in the presidential race if he replaced her.

We remind you that Donald Trump has officially become the Republican presidential candidate. He also elected a vice presidential candidate. This is Senator James David Vance from Ohio.
