In Lviv this morning, an explosion was heard near one of the apartment buildings on Pasichnaya Street.

It was later established that as a result of the incident, a 34-year-old Lviv resident received fatal injuries, there were no other victims. An F-1 grenade exploded beforehand. This was reported on July 10 by the press service of the Lviv region police.
It is noted that numerous shrapnel wounds were found on the body of the deceased.
It has also been preliminarily established that the man received injuries as a result of a grenade explosion, probably an F-1, the police note.
Open criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 (Intentional murder with the note “suicide”) and Part 1 of Article 263 (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code.
An investigation is underway, law enforcement officers are establishing the incident and the origin of the ammunition. Expert examinations have been ordered.
