This was reported by the communications department of the Ternopil region police.
In total, six vehicles collided in the accident:
- In the morning, a Renault Duster and an Iveco truck collided here. The accident with material damage was registered by a patrol police crew. As a result, a traffic jam formed on the highway;
- A Vanhool bus with about 40 passengers and a Kia Sportage were waiting in line to travel;
- At that moment, a MAN road train was moving along the road. Its driver did not have time to brake and the truck crashed into a Kia Sportage. The SUV, by inertia, flew into the oncoming traffic lane and crashed into a Citroën truck, and the road train, in turn, rammed a truck and a bus.
The driver of the road train, a minor passenger and the driver of the Kia Sportage, two passengers from the bus and a passenger from the Citroën truck were hospitalized, the police noted. — The issue of entering this fact into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations is being decided. The investigation is ongoing.
