Ukraine’s representative to the UN, Serhiy Kyslytsya, has already spoken at the Security Council meeting. He noted that the Russian missile strike on the children’s hospital in Kyiv demonstrates “the Russian Federation’s deep disdain for any peaceful initiatives, regardless of their origin.” He also stated that the aggressor is trying to physically destroy Ukrainian children, whom it cannot abduct and “re-educate.” This was stated in the broadcast of the meeting.
The Kremlin’s moral and managerial degradation has reached such a level that it does not hesitate to commit crimes that undermine the vision of peace in those countries on which the Kremlin is now completely dependent, he said.
The diplomat also stressed that “Russia is like cancer, but worse” and will stop killing only when it is no longer capable of doing so.
It is absolutely necessary to shoot down Russian missiles. It is absolutely necessary to destroy Russian combat aircraft at their bases. Decisive steps must be taken to eliminate the threat, – the Ukrainian representative noted.
Before Kislitsa’s speech, Russian representative Vasily Nebenzya spoke, trying to convince that “Ukraine is to blame” for what happened. The representative of the aggressor country stated that Okhmatdet was allegedly hit by a NASAMS anti-aircraft missile system transferred by Norway. Nebenzya emphasized that Moscow is waiting for a reaction from the Norwegian authorities.
Citizen Nebenzya, you are not a legitimate chairman of the Security Council, and I will never address you. You are sitting in a place where Russia has illegally broken in, and the only proper place for you, before you end up in hell bypassing purgatory, is in the dock, – Kislitsa responded to these reproaches.
Let us recall that on July 8, Russian occupiers committed another brutal act of terror against Ukraine. The enemy fired 38 missiles of different types. One of them hit the Okhmatdet children’s hospital, causing significant damage.
As a result of the Russian attack on the territory of the medical facility, two people were killed and 32 wounded sought medical assistance. Eight children were hospitalized with injuries.
