At the NATO summit in Washington there will be a very strong aid package for Ukraine, the US Secretary of State said.
The NATO summit in Washington will further strengthen Ukraine’s ties with the Alliance and provide a strong aid package to Ukraine. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said this in a meeting with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmitry Kuleba, reports Interfax-Ukraine on Tuesday, July 9.
“We’ve done a lot of work in recent weeks and recent months, and I think you’ll see a very strong package from this summit for Ukraine. More broadly, we’re working closely together to ensure that as the matter, Ukraine has what it takes to get back stronger on our feet, militarily, economically, democratically, and we are on a very good path to doing so,” said Blinken.
The US Secretary of State noted that the success of Ukraine as a strong independent country is the best response to the aggression that Russia continues to carry out against Ukraine.
Blinken assured that the commitment of the United States and dozens of countries around the world to help Ukraine continues.
We remind you that a NATO summit will be held in Washington from July 9 to 11. One of the main issues here is support for Ukraine. In particular, a decision is expected to strengthen the Ukrainian air defense.
At the NATO summit, Ukrainian Presidents Vladimir Zelensky and US President Joe Biden will hold bilateral negotiations.
