In the morning and until 14.00, virgins of the queue of hourly shutdown schedules are used. Then – with the increase in heat – it is planned to use three or four. This is reported by the press service of “Ukrenergo”.
It is noted that a queue is a group of household consumers and businesses consuming a certain number of megawatts. Consumers in each region are divided into six queues:
- how many queues to push in all regions at the same time is determined by the Ukrenergo Dispatch Center to compensate for the energy deficit in the system;
- the duration of the queue, which queue to disconnect now – is determined by the regional power company in each region;
- Consumption in the regions differs in volume, since it depends on the volume of consumption of critical infrastructure and the number of industrial enterprises that import more than 80% of their consumption.
Conventionally, 1st stage of schedules – 4 hours of restrictions per day, 2nd stage – 8 hours of restrictions per day, 3rd stage – 12 hours of restrictions per day, 4th stage – more than 12 hours of restrictions per day. But how to distribute this load during the day, the regional power companies calculate and form the corresponding schedules for each region, Ukrenergo explained.
As of this morning, 504 populated areas in Ukraine remained without power. Of these:
- due to bad weather – consumers in Donetsk region without power;
- due to military actions there are new power outages in the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Nikolaev, Sumy, Kharkov, Kherson and Chernihiv regions;
- for technical reasons – consumers in the Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, and Kharkiv regions were de-energized. The technical reasons for the shutdown are related to the effect of heat on high-voltage equipment and power lines, and are also the consequences of military operations in the frontline regions.
