In the Nikolaev region, Russian troops again hit the site of a fire caused by shelling – rescuers are already working there. The press service of the State Emergency Service reported this on Monday, July 8.
“It happened yesterday evening, in the village of Dmitrovka, the rescuers extinguished the fire caused by the attack of the invaders, at that moment a fire truck opened fire on them, fortunately, none of them were hurt after waiting for danger, emergency responders extinguished the fire in an area of 1.5 hectares,” the statement said.
We remind you that last spring in Nikolaev, five rescuers were injured while extinguishing the fire. An unknown explosive detonated, setting the vehicles on fire. While extinguishing the fire, a second explosion occurred.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine changed the response protocols regarding the work of rescuers, as well as the use of engineering and special equipment.
