The government has developed a program that provides interest-free loans to citizens for the installation of energy equipment with a capacity of up to 10 kW.
Ukrainians and business representatives had easier access to the period before the restoration of the energy sector destroyed by the Russians, using a special government program. President Vladimir Zelensky announced this at a presidium meeting of the Congress of Local and Regional Councils.
First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine – Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Sviridenko spoke about exactly what ideas the government plans to implement in this direction. The state is introducing several programs that will start working on July 20 of this year.
We are talking about such events:
-
Interest-free loans to citizens for the installation of energy equipment with a capacity of up to 10 kW.
-
Loans for business from 150 million UAH. for energy efficiency, alternative generation and other purposes. They will be provided by 19 banking institutions, in particular Oschadbank, PrivatBank, Ukrgasbank and others.
-
Preferential loans for condominiums and housing cooperatives for the installation of equipment for alternative power generation.
-
As part of the state program of preferential business lending “5-7-9%”, entrepreneurs are allowed to spend loan money on the purchase and installation of gas-fired power generating units. A reduced interest rate was introduced for occupied and front-line territories.
Energy Minister German Galushchenko said that during martial law, many bureaucratic simplifications were introduced in the energy sector.
“We decided that during the war, for business entities, regardless of the form of ownership, to establish appropriate generation facilities, it is not necessary to develop appropriate urban planning documentation, obtain urban planning conditions and development restrictions, obtaining the right to carry out work, heat supply schemes, allocation of land plots and obtaining reports and reviews.
According to him, such facilities can be operated without appropriate certificates of acceptance for operation.
Let’s remember that after the continuation of Russian attacks in the energy sector, Ukraine received from its partners more than 2.3 thousand tons of energy equipment.
