Ukrainian soldiers continue to inflict losses on Russian troops in manpower and equipment, depleting the enemy along the entire battle line.
In the last 24 hours, 189 military clashes have been recorded on the front. Under the direction of Pokrovsky, the Ukrainian military repelled 49 attacks by the Russian invaders. This was announced by the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in a morning report on Tuesday, July 2.
In the Kharkov direction, the enemy continued offensive operations (attacks) with aviation support. In total, 13 military clashes took place here in the areas of Liptsy, Volchansk, and Glubokoe.
In the direction of Kupyansk, the number of military clashes per day was 17. The defense forces repelled enemy attacks in the Sinkovka, Stepnaya Novoselovka, Berestovoy and Peschany areas of the Kharkov region; Stelmakhovka, Lugansk region.
In the Liman direction, our troops suppressed 16 enemy attack operations in the areas of Grekovka, Makeevka, Nevskoye and Torskoye settlements in the Lugansk region.
Under the direction of Seversky, the Defense Forces repelled 21 attacks in the areas of Belogorovka in the Luhansk region, Verkhnekamensky, Ivano-Daryevka, Spornoye and Vyemka in the Donetsk region.
In the direction of Kramatorsk, Ukrainian defenders prevented seven enemy attempts to break through the defenses of our defenders in the areas of Klishchievka and New Donetsk region.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy carried out 28 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Severnoye, Yuzhnoye, Zheleznoye and New York settlements in the Donetsk region.
Under Pokrovsky’s direction, our defenders repelled 49 Russian attacks near the settlements of Novoaleksandrovka, Vozdvizhenka, Evgenievka, Novoselovka Pervaya, Sokol, Voskhod, Yasnobrodovka and Netaylovo in the Donetsk region.
Under the direction of Kurakhovsky, the Defense Forces continued to suppress the enemy in the area of the settlements of Georgievka, Krasnogorovka, Paraskoveevka and Konstantinovka, where the enemy tried to break the defense of our troops 10 times.
In the direction of Vremiv, the enemy carried out 14 attacks on our positions in the area of Vodyanoye, Makarovka and Urozhaynoye, Donetsk region.
At the direction of Orekhovsky, three military clashes took place in the areas of Novodanilovka, Malaya Tokmachka and Rabotino, Zaporozhye region.
In the direction of the Dnieper, the invaders continue to try to remove the units of the Defense Forces from their positions on the bridges. All nine Russian attacks were unsuccessful.
In the directions of Volyn and Polesie, the operational situation has not changed significantly. No signs of the formation of offensive enemy groups were detected.
On the border with the Chernigov and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducts sabotage and reconnaissance activities, shelling populated areas from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of mines and explosive barrier on the state border of Ukraine.
In the last 24 hours, the aviation and missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit one bullet train, one air defense system, two artillery systems, two electronic warfare/radar stations, 15 areas where the personnel of the enemy and weapons and military equipment.
We remind you that in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liquidated 1,280 invaders. From the beginning of the general war, the losses of the Russian army amounted to 545,090 people.
