Accession to the European Union: Zelensky announces progress

The head of state explained that we are discussing the procedure of screening and preparing the terms of the future agreement on the accession of Ukraine to the EU.

Ukraine is preparing more common measures with European partners. The coming months should show progress in moving the country closer to the European Union. This was stated in the evening speech of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

“We are preparing additional joint measures with European partners, and the next months should show progress in bringing Ukraine closer to the European Union,” the head of state said.

We are discussing the screening procedure and preparation of the terms of the future agreement on the accession of Ukraine to the EU, the president explained.

“There will be new bilateral security agreements with our partners,” Zelensky assured.
