This was stated by the executive director of the Russian research and production enterprise Radar mms Ivan Antsev.
As they write in Defense Express, the developer company states that this drone is primarily intended for monitoring transport and energy infrastructure, environmental control, search and rescue operations, signal relaying, and cargo delivery.
It is stated that the maximum take-off weight of the VT-30E is 30 kg, the maximum payload weight is 7 kg, the flight duration is one and a half hours, the maximum flight range is 40 km (including return), cruising speed is 55 km/h, the ceiling is 4500 m.
Moreover, depending on the needs of the mission, the drone can be equipped with optoelectronic devices, detectors, gas analyzers, radar stations, geophysical and other equipment.
The VT-30E can also be controlled both from an external pilot station (there are a number of options) and from the so-called “Dronoport” automated docking station.
The drone deployment takes 10-15 minutes, depending on the time of day and the condition of the runway.
