The annual increase in retail prices for fuel in Russia, according to Rosstat, exceeded 11%. And this in the future can contribute to the accelerated increase of prices for a wide range of goods and services.
Frequent repair of refineries, which underwent regular invasion of drones last year, became one of the causes of fuel deficiency, including low reserves at private gas stations and airports problems, due to which people began to use many vehicles.
How much fuel is made in Russia is unknown. Authorities returned in 2024, after aggression of drones in the oil factory, classified the official fuel statistics, and then gasoline. According to Reuters, last year the quantity of oil refinement in the Russian Federation rolled back to 12 -Year minimum – 269.9 million tons.
Keep in mind that Russia’s two large refineries have been forced to stop labor due to attacks of Ukrainian drones. Novokuybyshevsky refinery with a capacity of 8.3 million tons per year has completely stopped issuing, and Ryazan Refinery – the largest in Rosneft, part of the top 5 of the largest in Russia and tools, including the Moscow region, stopped half the capacity.
