The latest developments will be able to “talk” to each other during combat and combat in a “herd”, like a team, reports The Times.

Ukrainian developers are creating drones that can communicate with each other during combat and fight in a swarm as a team. This was said by one of the Kyiv UAV developers Sergei Krupienko in a comment to The Times on Sunday, June 23.
Soon, his company will bring to the fore a new, previously unseen development – an artificially created “flock” of seven drones capable of communicating with each other and blowing up tanks , as well as spying on the enemy. Such works will be able to communicate with each other, decide which of them is attacking, collecting information – and they will do it faster than any human.
Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation Alexey Bornyakov sees the future in the “drone war” and confirmed that Ukraine is testing “swarm” technology with at least one other company besides Kuprienko’s company. But Ukraine won’t allow killer machines to be “fully autonomous” because “somebody has to confirm the target.” However, “technically they (drones – ed.) can do it themselves.”
UAVs can “shoot to kill” in a clearly defined area where only the enemy is present.
“American expert Singer believes that Ukraine may have already allowed AI to destroy targets without human intervention. He refers to the use of the latest American drone system, which can identify enemy vehicles even when they are camouflaged, and sent their coordinates to other drones that were automatically launched to their destruction,” the publication notes.
We remind you that the Ministry of Defense bought drones for more than UAH 1 billion.
