Donald Trump, according to opinion polls, is leading in the “swing” states, which are considered key in the US presidential election.

According to a published survey by the American Institute Rasmussen Reports, 46% of US citizens are ready to vote for Donald Trump in the presidential election, while incumbent President Joe Biden can count on the support of 36% of voters.
At the same time, an Ipsos poll showed that in seven so-called swing states, Trump, despite a recent conviction in a hush-money case, leads Biden by 37% to 35%. Most respondents who prefer Trump complain about high inflation, rising prices and uncontrolled migration.
In swing states, unlike New York, which is considered a Democratic stronghold, or Texas, where the Republicans are traditionally strong, the majority of votes can shift from one party to another. Usually, it is the voting in such states that determines who will become the next president of the United States.
While Joe Biden’s team is relying on proven Hollywood stars like Julia Roberts or George Clooney, Donald Trump’s team is working with the younger generation. Thus, the former US President recently gave an interview to YouTube blogger Logan Paul.
Trump’s lawyers are currently trying to defend against allegations that he hid documents containing national security secrets at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
