This will happen through diplomacy. Meetings are planned in one of the countries where nuclear safety will be discussed. A step-by-step plan will be developed to free Atomka. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this on June 16 during a conversation with journalists after the Peace Summit in Switzerland.
There will be meetings… Yes, it’s getting closer. Everyone recognizes that there must be de-occupation of the Zaporizhia NPP. Diplomatically. They will meet on a platform, as I said, in one of the countries where nuclear safety will be discussed. And a step-by-step plan will be written out. This is our goal,” the head of state emphasized.
Let us recall that the participants of the Peace Summit in Switzerland signed a joint communiqué, where, in particular, they called on Russia to transfer control of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant to Ukraine. They emphasized that any threat or use of nuclear weapons in the context of the war in Ukraine is unacceptable.
