The region is under a joint Russian air strike. It was attacked by drones and missiles.
On Friday evening, explosion sounds were heard during a rocket attack in the Khmelnitsky region. Suspilna Khmelnytsky reported this on Friday, June 7.
It is indicated that the sounds of the explosion in the Khmelnitsky region were heard around four o’clock in the morning.
Before that, the command of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that several groups of enemy drones were approaching Starokonstantinov from the east, west and south.
In addition, the movement of a cruise missile of the invaders was recorded in the area of Shargorod towards Khmelnytsky.
Around half past five in the morning, the Air Force announced that a second group of missiles had entered the Khmelnitsky region and was headed for Starokonstantinov.
On the public pages of Khmelnitsky they wrote that repeated explosions were heard in the region.
Not far from this city there is a military airport, in addition there is a railway junction. This is why the Russians regularly attack Starokonstantinov with missiles and drones.
Remember that the enemy often chooses energy facilities for his attacks. Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation with outages will be difficult during the week. Only improvement is expected by the end of the week.
Energy workers also predict that the coming months – July in particular – will be the most difficult period in the energy system.
