Ukrenergo, due to exceeding consumption limits, from 20.40 on June 5 is forced to apply emergency shutdowns in the regions of Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkassy, Chernihiv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, Volyn, Lviv , Odessa, Zaporozhye and Kirovograd. This was reported by Ukrenergo.
It was noted that disruptions in power supply to critical infrastructure facilities are possible.
“Emergency shutdowns will be lifted after the regions enter the consumption limits specified for them,” the message said.
It was previously reported that on Thursday, June 6, a deficit in Ukraine’s energy system is again expected throughout the day.
