On Thursday, June 6, stabilization closures and restrictions on the consumption of household and industrial consumers are planned, the energy company reported.
Due to a large deficit in the energy system, power outages in Kyiv also occur in the “light gray” zones on the graphs. Energy company DTEK announced this on Wednesday, June 5, on its own telegram channel.
“The lack of capital is big, so the closures are also happening in the light gray zone this zone will have power,” the company said.
DTEK added that, at the direction of Ukrenergo, the closure of stabilization and consumption restrictions of household and industrial consumers is expected on June 6.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation with outages will be difficult during the week. Only improvement is expected by the end of the week.
We remind you that the shortage in the Ukrainian energy system arose due to Russian attacks on infrastructure facilities. According to DTEK, taking into account the latest missile attack, Russia destroyed 9.2 GW of Ukrainian generation.
