This applies to today, June 1st. The reason for the change was a night Russian air attack. From 18:00 to 23:00, blackout schedules are forecast in all regions. Restrictions will be introduced for household and industrial consumers. The Ministry of Energy reported this.
At the same time, due to the night attack on the power system, the volume of restrictions may change, the department said.
The Ministry of Energy emphasized that the main reason for the outages is large-scale Russian attacks on the energy system and the power shortage caused by the enemy.
Let us remind you that Energy Minister German Galushchenko reported that on the night of June 1, Russia tried to attack the energy infrastructure in Zaporozhye, Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kirovograd and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. DTEK announced significant damage to equipment at two thermal power plants.
The day before, Ukrenergo announced that on June 1 they had introduced limits on light consumption for businesses and the public throughout Ukraine from 18.00 to 23.00. Hourly outage schedules may apply if these limits are exceeded.
