The US President emphasized that this case is considered part of a state investigation, and not at the federal level, in addition, Trump had every opportunity to defend himself.
Biden also noted that the jury was made up of 12 ordinary Americans who heard the evidence and returned a unanimous verdict.
“They found Donald Trump guilty on all 34 counts,” Biden said.
The president added that Trump, like others, will have the opportunity to appeal the decision. “This is how the American justice system works,” Biden said.
