Prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office sent an indictment to the court against the wife of the former MP for committing crimes against the national security of Ukraine.

She is charged with financing actions committed with the aim of violently changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power, and collaboration activities (part 3 of article 110-2, part 4 of article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The report from the Office of the Prosecutor General does not indicate the name of the suspect, but it is about “the wife of a former people’s deputy of Ukraine, who was the leader of the banned party OPZZH and has already been deprived of Ukrainian citizenship, was the ultimate beneficiary of a network of Kyiv companies and enterprises in Yalta.” The leader of the OPZZH is Viktor Medvedchuk, his wife is Oksana Marchenko.
Through these companies, Marchenko transferred millions of sums to finance the Russian National Guard and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia during 2014-2022, and also transferred material resources to the illegal armed formations of the aggressor state.
Together with two directors of the LLC and a company manager, she transferred more than 21 million UAH to the aggressor state under the guise of paying taxes and fees for allegedly protecting real estate on the territory of the annexed peninsula.
During the investigation, at the request of prosecutors, property and assets of the accused worth more than UAH 18.4 billion were seized.
In particular, movable property worth over UAH 7.5 billion was seized. and real estate for UAH 2.1 billion, as well as for securities for UAH 5.3 billion. and corporate rights.
One of the accused’s accomplices has already been sentenced to imprisonment. The indictment against two more is pending in court.
