The footage of the defeat was published by the combined tactical group Adam.
Aerial reconnaissance of the 79th Air Assault Brigade discovered a Russian BM-27 Uragan rocket launcher at a firing position 25 km from the front.
The attack drone pilots of the tactical group “Adam” took over the defeat of the Russian artillery system, using an FPV drone with a powerful warhead to successfully hit an enemy target.
This crowbar entered the firing position and managed to fire three missiles… There was no detonation after the defeat, so most likely it was already empty, but given the armored vehicle on the drone, it will need to be well repaired! – said the fighters.
The Uragan MLRS is capable of firing high-explosive fragmentation or cluster rockets at a distance of up to 35 km, therefore it is often used by the invaders to fire behind the front line for the purpose of counter-battery warfare or mining.
Given the location of the affected vehicle, it can be assumed that it fired at Ukrainian positions located directly on the line of combat.
The 25-kilometer zone behind enemy lines has already become an operating zone for Ukrainian attack drones thanks to the development of FPV copter technologies and communications equipment. The strike FPV operating area covers all possible firing positions of such Russian artillery systems as D-20 and D-30 howitzers, 2S1 Gvozdika and 2S3 Akatsiya self-propelled guns, as well as Grad MLRS.
In addition, to work deep into Ukrainian territories, Hurricanes are also forced to enter this zone.
