According to the investigation, the “leader” of the intelligence group was an Odessa resident, an instructor in hand-to-hand and knife fighting, one of the activists of the Odessa Anti-Maidan.
The husband was personally in touch with representatives of the Russian intelligence service. He involved his close relative in illegal activities. On instructions from the FSB, the defendants were required to take photographs and send coordinates of railway infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region.
In addition, the “head” of the intelligence group personally administrated a group of fans of the so-called Novorossiya on one of the social networks. There he organized a fundraiser for militants of the terrorist organizations of the LPR/DPR. The SBU gradually documented the reconnaissance and explosive activities of enemy agents and detained them.
