The Ministry of Defense announced the amounts of payments to the military for participation in battles and destroyed equipment of the Russians. Military personnel of the Defense Forces on the front line receive pay and additional payments for participation in hostilities, as well as rewards for destroyed Russian equipment.

Speaker of the Ministry of Defense Dmitry Lazutkin said this during a telethon on April 30.
Difficult and risky work should be adequately paid. And now a serviceman directly involved in hostilities will receive 20 thousand 100 UAH minimum – this is the basic allowance, plus 100 thousand UAH for participation in hostilities and 70 thousand UAH for every 30 days on the line of combat, – he said.
Lazutkin explained that in general, an infantryman can receive 190 thousand 100 UAH per month, and for officers the payments are higher.
Outside the combat zone, military personnel are guaranteed to receive 20 thousand UAH, and if a soldier performs special, but not combat missions, he receives 30 thousand UAH per month in addition to monetary support.
Also, according to the speaker of the Ministry of Defense, military personnel can receive a monetary reward for destroyed Russian equipment:
- for a Russian military vehicle you can get 12,180 UAH,
- for a tank – 48,720 UAH.
- for a first-rank ship – more than 243,000 UAH.
- for armored vehicles – infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers – you can get more than 40,000 UAH;
- for an airplane or helicopter – more than 100,000 UAH.
To receive this money, there must be an entry in the combat log so that it is reported. And it is desirable that there is photo or video recording. Considering that a modern high-tech war is now being waged and almost every command post has a drone image from the battlefield, this should not be a big problem, Lazutkin explained.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, proposed doubling the payment to “combat” military personnel at the forefront of the front.
In 2024, the minimum salary of a mobilized military man will be UAH 33 thousand. It includes the minimum salary of a conscript soldier (20 thousand UAH) and the minimum salary according to military rank (13 thousand UAH). Cash support for military personnel is not subject to the 1.5% military tax.
100 thousand UAH (from September 29, 2023) are received by military personnel serving in the missile forces, artillery and air defense, and they fire the enemy, without the condition of staying in the area of combat operations.
Also, military personnel who are engaged in mine clearance not in a combat zone can count on a payment of 100 thousand UAH.
