According to Variety, the streaming platform Netflix is planning to launch a new live-action series inspired by ‘Scooby-Doo’. Know more!
SCOOBY, MY SON! According to sources from Variety (via Omelete), the “Scooby-Doo” franchise is expected to get a new series in live-action format by Netflix. The production, however, does not yet have a release date.
According to the portal, the series should have one-hour episodes, and the agreement to start production is close to being finalized. The project, which will be a collaboration between Warner Bros. Television and Netflix, plot details continue to be kept under wraps.
Variety also states that the script will be written by Josh Appelbaum It is Scott Rosenbergwho will also work as executive producers alongside Greg Berlantiproducer known for having worked on DC series on the CW, such as “Flash”, “Arrow” and “Supergirl”.
On social media, fans of the famous detective dog shared their excitement about the new production, in addition to sharing their expectations for the episodes. Furthermore, some internet users said they hoped the cast would be as good as the live-action films in the “Scooby-Doo” (2002) and “Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed” franchise.
