Dmitry Lubinets that the personal data of prisoners can be used by both fraudsters and Russian special services.
The public dissemination of personal data of prisoners of war or civilians illegally held by Russia and their relatives is fraught with problems during the exchange. This is what Human Rights Ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets said.
When information about prisoners is disseminated, fraudsters can use it to make money and defraud families of money.
The Ombudsman added that this information could be used by Russian intelligence services.
He advises at rallies and on social networks to carefully ensure that the enemy does not know personal information:
-
last name;
-
Name;
-
rank;
-
call sign;
-
brigade number;
-
Part;
-
location;
-
picture.
“The enemy is deceitful and waiting in all places And his main goal has not changed – he wants to stop Ukrainians and Ukraine Therefore, take care of each other and personal data,” concluded Lubinets.
We remind you that Ukraine returned 230 military personnel from Russian captivity on Wednesday, January 3. Some of them defended Mariupol and Azovstal.
