Today, from 9.00, protesters are again blocking the directions of the Korcheva – Krakovets and Medika – Shegini checkpoints. At the Krakovets state of emergency, the movement of freight vehicles heading towards Ukraine is limited, and in the direction of Shegini, both leaving and entering Poland. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine.
About 1,500 trucks are expected in queues on Polish territory traveling towards Ukraine. There is no observed complication in the movement of buses and cars.
It is noted that “Shegini” will be blocked until tomorrow morning, and “Krakivtsy” until the morning of April 20.
The leader of the Polish cell of farmers “Podkarpackie deceived village” Roman Kondrów said that farmers will let one truck pass per hour, other vehicles will travel unhindered.
Let us remind you that on February 9, the Poles resumed the blockade on the border with Ukraine. Farmers began protests both on the country’s roads and at checkpoints with Ukraine. The blockade is expected to last at least until the end of April.
