Another 49 residents of Donetsk region were evacuated to Rivne and Lviv regions. This was announced on Tuesday, April 16, by the head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadim Filashkin.
He assured that all 49 residents of the region are safe to leave the region.
“This time, the decision to evacuate was made by residents of Krasnogorovka, Kurakhovo, Toretskaya, Kramatorskaya, Ukrainskaya and Novogrodovka, among them, 15 children and five disabled people were evacuated.
According to Filashkin, residents went to Rivne and Lviv regions.
“Coordinators will meet them there and provide all necessary assistance,” he said.
Despite daily shelling in Chasovoy Yar, Donetsk region, 785 people remain. Local authorities are trying to prove to people that evacuation saves lives. However, despite the enemy attack and the lack of electricity, water and gas, many residents are not ready to leave.
It was previously reported that residents of 27 border villages were evacuated in the Sumy region.
