The European Commission recommends that the EU Council approve Ukraine’s reform plan, which will make it possible for Kyiv to provide aid from a general package worth 50 billion euros. The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, wrote about it on her X page (formerly Twitter).
“The Ukraine Reform and Investment Strategy offers a solid foundation for a more modern, prosperous Ukraine on its path to the EU,” the official wrote.
According to him, the approval of the European Commission today Ukrainian plan is a big step forward.
“This opens the way to regular payments under the Fund for Ukraine in the amount of 50 billion euros,” he added.
As we wrote earlier, the European Commission has finished developing proposals for a draft negotiation framework with Ukraine.
