The occupiers are concentrating efforts to break through the Ukrainian defense west of Bakhmut in order to reach the Seversky Donets – Donbass canal and occupy Vremya Yar. Thus, the enemy wants to create conditions for further advance into the Kramatorsk agglomeration. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, announced this on Facebook on April 14.
He emphasized that the Russian plans are hampered by the heroic defense of the brigades, which “literally bit into the ground, holding back the enemy’s daily attacks.” Due to their numerical advantage, individual Russian units reached the Novy microdistrict, but were destroyed by FPV kamikaze strikes and artillery fire.
Syrsky added that in order to adequately respond to the threat and strengthen the positions of the defense forces in this direction, the command took measures to significantly strengthen the brigades with ammunition, drones and electronic warfare equipment.
Let us recall that on April 5, Deep State analysts reported that the army of the Russian Federation had approached the city of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region. Enemy units entered houses in the vicinity of Temporary Yar, and there were also assaults on high-rise buildings, but the invaders were unable to gain a foothold there.
However, subsequently the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, denied this information and stated that the Defense Forces still control the city of Chasov Yar in the Donetsk region.
