In ten years, Ukraine will become a member of the European Union and join NATO. The President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, said this on Friday, April 12, at a meeting with students.
He said that it is inappropriate to give accurate forecasts now, but stressed that it is clear what will happen to our country after the war.
“There are things that are clear, and I am 100% sure that it will be so. An EU country and I really believe that it is a NATO country. I think it will be so, that we will overcome it. I am sure I that Ukraine will be rebuilt by many countries, not the whole world, but, of course, Ukraine will recover,” said the president.
As we have already written, according to a sociological study by IPSOS/Euronews, 45% of EU residents want to see Ukraine as the next member in the expansion of the European Union.
Earlier, the United States said that Ukraine could only join NATO after the war was unleashed by Russia. At the same time, it is a “moving process”. State Department Speaker Matthew Miller said this.
