“We understand that the weapons must be in the hands of the citizens, because there is a war. Two weeks ago, in the first reading, we adopted a law that defines what we will do with captured weapons. After the law that it voted in the second reading, every citizen who has this weapon must bring it to the police and register it,” the minister announced.
After registration, according to Klimenko, these weapons, including ammunition, can be kept with you until the end of martial law, because after that, every citizen must bring these weapons to the police and hand them over , or take them, or convert them to an authorized type of weapon.
“After this, we can talk about the fact that we can take the next step in the ownership of weapons. At the same time, we must not forget about the large number of mental illnesses in the people to come from the front and we will be responsible, the Ministry of the Interior, especially for this work “, added Klimenko.
