The Defense Forces destroyed 16 of the 17 attack UAVs that attacked Ukraine last night. This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Nikolai Oleshchuk on Telegram on Friday, April 12.

“On the night of April 12, 2024, the enemy attacked with 17 attack UAVs of the Shahed-131/136 type from Cape Chauda (Crimea) and an X-59 guided missile from the airspace of the occupied Donetsk region,” he wrote. .

As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, Air Force aviation and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces shot down 16 Shahed attack UAVs within the Nikolaev, Odessa, Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk, Vinnitsa and Khmelnytsky regions.

As reported, at night Russia launched drones across Ukraine, and explosions were heard in the Kherson and Krivoy Rog regions. Several explosions also occurred in the Khmelnitsky region.
