If Ukraine is offered credit assistance today or free of charge, but tomorrow, then “we will agree today,” the president emphasized.
The Ukrainian side is considering the option of receiving military aid from the United States on loan if there is no other way. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an interview broadcast on a telethon on Saturday, April 6.
According to him, if Ukraine is given credit assistance today or free aid tomorrow, then “we will agree today.”
“There was one senator recently. And he said: Will you agree to the loan money? For example, they will say that the money is a loan, or you will not get it. I answered: What are these elections for, if there is no choice? I will agree we in some kind of or an option,” said Zelensky.
He recalled that for Ukraine, aid from the United States is a matter of safety, so it is trying to get it and “many options are being considered.”
At the same time, Vladimir Zelensky believes that “we will get a positive vote from the US Congress.”
Earlier, the media reported that the US Congress has again postponed the vote on the Ukraine aid bill. The House is unlikely to discuss the issue until mid-April, and possibly later.
At the same time, proposals have recently increased that the United States may provide credit assistance to Ukraine. This is exactly the point of view expressed by Donald Trump.
