An entertainment center caught fire in Istanbul – 29 dead (PHOTO)

    In Istanbul, Turkey, 29 people were killed and one was injured in a fire at an entertainment center under reconstruction.

    The cause of the fire is unknown. Police detained six suspects, including a business manager and an accountant who were in charge of renovating the center.

    According to Turkish media, the fire occurred in a nightclub located under a 16-story residential building.

    According to Hürriyet, at about 13:00 local time, an explosion occurred, which resulted in a fire and the flames spread to the rest of the room. The club was closed for Ramadan and was undergoing renovation work. It is reported that all the victims were people who carried out repairs.
