Immediately after the invasion of Ukraine began, the number of Russian billionaires fell sharply – to 88 people in 2022. In 2023 there were 110.
Forbes said that the number of Russian billionaires could be much larger, but ten of the richest businessmen renounced Russian citizenship after the start of the war and now appear in the ranks as representatives of other countries.
