A fire broke out at an energy facility in the Odessa region. The remains of the downed kamikaze drone Shahed-136/131 fell there. The Defense Forces of southern Ukraine reported this on Sunday, March 31.
It was indicated that energy infrastructure and industrial facilities were once again in enemy sight. The combat work in the south of the country lasted about two hours. In the Odessa region, eight suicide bombers were shot.
Falling debris from a downed drone caused a fire at one of the region’s power facilities, resulting in a blackout in several populated areas. The fire has been extinguished. No one was injured. Restoration is underway, the statement said.
The enemy also attacked the Kherson region with drones and missiles – ballistic and guided aircraft. The Russians hit a mothballed agricultural enterprise. There were no casualties.
We remind you that tonight the Russians invaded the west of Ukraine. Two groups of missiles entered the Sumy region and headed west towards the Lviv and Volyn regions.
Later, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that most of the enemy targets had been shot down.
