“Today, due to the restrictions imposed by NEC Ukrenergo, the KhNPP power unit supplies the Ukrainian energy system with 300 MWh. After the restrictions are lifted, the unit will also be loaded,” the message said.
It was also reported that on the evening of March 30, on the order of the Ukrenergo dispatcher, emergency shutdown schedules were applied in Donetsk, Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy, and Poltava regions.
“The reason is network restrictions on the main lines of the transmission system operator to prevent overloading of sections. Hourly shutdown schedules also continue to apply in the Kharkov region,” said the Ministry of Energy.
It was noted that there was no power shortage and there was no threat of emergency shutdown for other regions.
