US intelligence agencies did indeed warn Moscow that a terrorist attack was being prepared in Russia, but this information was of a general nature, says FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov.

He states that there was information that the terrorist attack was planned not at the concert, but during the presidential elections in Russia. Bortnikov admitted that the investigation has not yet established who ordered the attack.
But he, like Vladimir Putin earlier, spoke about an alleged “Ukrainian trace,” but they traditionally did not provide any evidence of their words. Zelensky denied Ukrainian involvement.
On March 7, the embassies of several countries, including the United States, Canada, Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Latvia and South Korea, warned their citizens that a terrorist attack could occur in Moscow in the next two days.
On the same day, the FSB announced the prevention of a terrorist attack on a synagogue in Moscow, which was allegedly prepared by militants from the ISIS cell in Afghanistan – Vilayat Khorasan (the same group is considered involved in the terrorist attack in Crocus City Holly). Two citizens of Kazakhstan were suspected of preparing an attack on a Moscow synagogue.
After the terrorist attack on March 22 in Crocus, the media, citing sources, wrote that the United States shared messages with Russia about the threat of terrorist attacks.
